The GA4 "AI Assistant" channel is live. My clients already have data in it.
Google Analytics now reports AI assistant referrals as a native acquisition channel. Most businesses have an empty row there. Across three properties I manage, the row is populated, and the sessions engage harder than any other channel: 50 to 100% engagement rates, and conversions already recorded. Small volume today, exactly like early Google traffic once was. The companies collecting it now are the ones AI can already read and trust. And because I hold myself to the same standard, I publish what ChatGPT answers about my own category, dated, including while it does not name me.
