RF Analytics: #1 in under a year, above decade-old competitors
A software house less than one year old, competing against companies with ten years in the market and review counts in the hundreds. Today, when a buyer searches the problem, RF Analytics shows up first.
The starting point
A new software house with real capability and the classic new-company problem: it only appeared when someone searched its brand name. The buyers searching the problem, custom software in their region, found the incumbents. Age and review count were doing the ranking, not merit.
What I did
Created the Google Business Profile from zero, passed verification, and rebuilt the positioning around the problem buyers search instead of the company name: services, posts, images and the on-site signals, optimized as one system. The bet was simple: incumbents were coasting on legacy presence, and legibility beats legacy when someone actually does the work. The same mechanism I document in entity SEO.
The result
Ranked #1 for its core term in under a year, above competitors with a decade in the market and 90-plus and 118-review profiles. No paid ads. In the client's words: they are no longer one of those companies that only appear when you search the brand name. When a buyer searches the problem, they show up.
Why this case matters beyond RF: a one-year-old company beating decade-old incumbents on their own term is the whole thesis in one result. The incumbents did not lose because they got worse. They lost because being legible to the machines beats being merely established. That is the same gap AI search is now widening, which is why this foundation is also what GEO is built on.
